Willis M. Pike Jr. 1942 ~ 2013 My brother, my "Bud" Willis M. Pike, Jr., passed away December 1, 2013 at Jordan Valley Hospital. He was born in Kent Washingon on June 26, 1942, the son of Willis M. Pike, Sr. And Helen Jean Sornberger Pike. He loved his family, group home, family, diet coke, turkey legs, coffee, watching football and John Wayne movies. He loved to meet people and everyone he met was his friend. He attended South Valley Training Center and the Work Activity Center. Our heartfelt thanks go to the physicians and nursing staff at Jordan Valley Hospital ER and first floor telemetry for their kindness, loving care, consideration, and respect for Willis. Also our heartfelt thank you to Future Through Choices Administration and the staff at West Jordan Group Home , Amanda, Cherie, Dave, Joey, Lisa, Pam, Dillon for all of their love, kindness and care for Willis. He is survived by his sister, Bonnie (Calvin) Horrocks, niece, Candice (Roy) Howard; nephews, Jon Horrocks, Jeff Horrocks, special nephew, Jon Chris Horrocks of West Valley City and Neola Utah. Preceded in death by his parents. Graveside will be Thursday, December 5, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at the Hayden Cemetery, Hayden, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
