Winona Rogers (Kofoed )Bradley Nonie On July 19, 2013 we were heartbroken to say goodbye to Winona Rogers (Kofoed) Bradley due to ALS (Lou Gehrig s Disease). Winona was loved and adored by all who knew her. She was funny, outgoing, thoughtful and gorgeous. Above all she was fun. She loved movies, restaurants and tomato sandwiches on homemade bread. Winona was born June 1, 1949 to Ralph and Kate Rogers. They called her their miracle baby . She lived in Highland, Utah until 1959 when her family moved to Salt Lake City. She graduated from East High School in 1967. On June 3, 1970 she married Preston Kofoed. They had 5 children and 9 grandchildren (with one on the way) who are all exceptionally gorgeous, like their Grandma. They divorced in 2000 but have remained friends. Winona married Edward Mo Bradley on November 29, 2003. They lived in Las Vegas ,NV. and in Taylorsville, UT. Winona was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the church, her ward and her visiting teachers. She was a remarkably good mom and we all loved her so much. She enjoyed being with her family and was close to her sisters, aunts and cousins. One day when her dad was doing genealogy she asked, Everyone keeps track of the ancestors, who keeps track of the descendants? he replied, You should. So she has kept a record, beginning with her Grandparents, of all the marriages, missionaries and births in her family. This may not sound impressive unless you know that her Grandparents had 14 children and the descendants totaled 1,065 as of last September. She is survived by: Her husband Edward Mo Bradley. Her sons Sean (Tina) Kofoed, Ryan (Bethany) Kofoed and Jake (Rachelle) Kofoed. Her favorite daughter Misty (Warren) Kelm and her good daughter Kori (Will) Wirth. Grandchildren: Sascha & Griffin Wirth, Maddie, Conan & Hallie Kelm, Katie, Max, Sawyer & Tyler Kofoed and Baby Baylenn Kofoed due in August. Her two sisters Dorothy (Gary) Astill and Aloa (Ray) Phillipps. Her lifelong best friend JoAnn (Bill) Stidd. Special thanks to her cousin Annette Day, who has helped us immeasurably. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 23, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville 19th Ward, 1950 Chateau Avenue (5225 South). Viewing will be held Monday, July 22, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and at the church Tuesday 10-10:45 a.m. prior to funeral services.
