Zeola Elaine Curtis died at age 96 on March 5, 2016. She was born December 15, 1919. She married Asel LeRoy Curtis, a sheepherder, at age 16. She lived in the mountains with him and worked at Mountain Home Ranch. Most of her life she worked as a homemaker, but also worked at the University Hospital for 19 years. She is survived by son, Mac Roy (Susan) Curtis; 5 grandchildren, Gezel, Adam, Jennie, Daisy, Mac Delroy; 3 great-grandchildren, Quention, Troy, Onica; sister, Helen McDonald. Preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Curtis; and two children, Deanne and Dell Curtis; seven siblings, Dean Bardsley, Reva Christensen, Bob Bardsley, Marion Tanner, LeRoy Bardsley, Max Bardsley, Lazon Washington Her last remarks were, "It is getting harder and harder to live." Services will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2016, 1:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, wherea viewing will be held 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services.
