Charles Myron Carroll, age 82, passed away August 27, 2020 in Tacoma, Washington.

Born on December 1, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of LaVor Kartchner and Verona Darlene (Atwood) Carroll. He married Luella Ann Bess on February 1, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah in the Salt Lake Temple.

Survived by son, Jeffrey (Jodi) Campbell; daughter Katherine (Andrew) Beal; 5 granddaughters, Kennedy, Brooke, Kaliya, Ashlyn and Kenna; 2 grandsons, Corey and Justin; and brother Mel (Barb) Carroll.

Preceded in death by wife, Luella Carroll; son, C. Matthew Carroll; brother, Steve Carroll; sisters Linda Christiansen and Katherine Carroll.

Charles was known for his playful sense of humor. He always had a silly remark or saying for anyone he encountered. He always made people smile. He was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which he held close to his heart. He was an amazing, unconditionally loving, and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by many but mostly by his family who will carry his memory in their hearts.

A viewing will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
