Cindy Parry Groves, of Herriman, born on December 19, 1956, to Colleen Bodell and Everett Thomas Parry, passed away at age 62 on February 23, 2019 at her home in West Valley, Utah.
Cindy was the fourth of five children but stood out from the beginning and not just for her red hair. She made her television debut on the children's show "Romper Room" as a young girl. Cindy graduated from Bingham High School in 1975 and married her other half, Wade, in January of 1980. She lived in Herriman for the majority of her life, raising her two sons there leaving behind many friends and family there.
Her sons say she was the sweetest mother but she also didn't take crap from anyone, especially them. She adored her children and was always thinking of them. Cindy was known for her wicked sense of humor and her contagious, boisterous laugh. She was a wild child and a caring soul wrapped into one. She was the life of the party but always made everyone feel wanted and appreciated. She was a strong woman and spoke her mind, very much like her mother. She played Bunco with her sisters for many years and leaves behind so many fun memories. Cindy was generous to a fault: She would give you everything she had, even down to her last penny. She doted on children, always sneaking them money or giving them small gifts their parents would not approve of. Cindy was a minimalist and appreciated the small things life, like Coca Cola. Wade was a devoted husband; always bringing her treats and took such good care of her. She will be missed deeply by her whole family and all who knew her.
Cindy is preceded in death by her brother, Steven Parry and both her parents. Cindy is survived by her husband (Robert) Wade Groves and two sons, Chad Everett Groves and Marty Robert Groves. Siblings: Collette (Dennis) Briggs, Guy (Tammie) Parry; Roxanne (Terry) Saltas. She also leaves behind her adored dog, Pepper.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life for Cindy on March 10th from 1pm to 3pm at the Lions Club at: 8725 West Hillcrest Street in Copperton Utah.
