Dorene Owens Anderson

Dorene Anderson, 83, passed away April 30, 2020 in Layton, Utah. Born May 19, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dori married James Anderson on February 14, 1959 in Elko, Nevada; their marriage was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a caring wife, mother and grandmother.

Dori had several different jobs throughout her life. After she officially quit working she became the daytime caregiver for 5 of her grandchildren. Grandchildren were her greatest joy.

She is survived by her sons: Michael (Denise) and John (Liz); eight grandchildren: Amanda (Jason), Jennifer (Reuben), John (Syndus), James
(Alexus), Megan, Brianne, Brandon, Brittney; and one great-grandson, Lucas. She was preceded in death by her husband James; and one great-grandchild.

As per her wishes, as well as due to Covid-19 there will be no funeral services. Interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park.
