Edeltraud returned home to her loving Heavenly Father peacefully on July 8, 2019 surrounded by her family. Edeltraud was born November 2, 1930 in Hamburg, Germany to Edmond and Elsa Kopp.
She married Ferdinand F. A. Biebau on November 26, 1949. They were blessed with four children: Fred Biebau, Gritta (Robert) Westerman, Doris Dickerson and Sylvia Hartvigsen. One of her greatest joys in life was being an Oma to nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Edeltraud had a long beautiful life as a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She spent her time taking care of her family whether she was loving on her babies, spending endless hours by the pool, making her amazing soups at the Deli or hunting for grandkids when it was time to do yard work.
Omie has moved on to bigger and more beautiful things. We are saddened by our loss but happy to know she has been reunited with her boys Robby and Joey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand; brother Werner; and grandsons Robby and Joey. Auf wiedersehen!
We would like to thank the staff of Highland Care Center for their love and care, especially Brenda, Robyn and Malinda.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah, where viewings will be held Thursday, 6-8:00 p.m. and again Friday prior to services from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
