Eileen Dianna Pettet

Eileen Dianna Pettet of West Jordan, Utah passed away of heart failure on August 18, 2021 surrounded by family and loved ones at the age of 69. Preceded in death by parents Russell Sr, Lorraine; and sisters Darlene and Renee. Survived by three sisters Sharon (Clifton) Conrad, Elaine (Stephen) Johnson, Sally (Alan) Heckendorn; two brothers, Russell Jr (Debbie) Pettet, Jody (Gail) Pettet; bother-in-law William Worsley; and numerous nephews and nieces whom she dearly loved.

Graduated from South High School. Attended LDS Business College, worked for Deseret Book accounting department, U of U Bookstore, American Express customer service, and Granite Furniture accounting department. Completed a successful mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Ohio West Virginia Mission.

Eileen was dedicated to her church and loved serving in multiple callings over her lifetime, her favorite callings were working with the children and youth. She knew how to make them feel special and gave them confidence through her love. She also faithfully served at the Jordan River Temple.

Eileen was loved by many neighbors and friends. Her unconditional love, contagious laugh and witty personality made her easy to love. She made a profound difference in the lives of others by helping, serving and being a wonderful friend.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at the Dixie Valley Chapel, 6500 South Dixie Drive, West Jordan, Utah. A visitation will precede services at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donation funds towards the services by using Venmo, @Sharon-Conrad.

Graveside will be held Tuesday, August 24^th, 3:00 p.m.  at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
