Madelyn White Knowles

Madelyn Knowles, 93, passed away peacefully in the arms of her daughter Sherry Saturday morning May 9th in Herriman, Utah.

Madelyn was born to Val and Nellie White in Goshen, Utah.  She has two brothers and five sisters who all have passed away.

May 9th marks the graduation of one classy, loving and kind lady!  She has done so much for so many people during her life!  She has always been so gracious and thankful for anything anyone has done for her or helped her in any way.  We all owe her a deep debt of gratitude.  She truly radiated the light and love of Christ during her life!

Madelyn was married to Dee Miller on December 17, 1942 and in his service to his country during World War II, he lost his life in a plane crash while he was on his way home to see his wife and new daughter Sherry Lynn Miller.

On October 13, 1945 she married Garth Kay and they had three boys, Terry, Miles and Dennis. Miles and Dennis are deceased.

She married Leo Knowles June 29, 1955.  Leo and Madelyn together did what they could to help anyone in need.   Leo also preceded her in death.  

She is survived by her daughter Sherry Ely; her son Terry Kay; many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  We will miss her!

Private family services will be held. Interment, Payson City Cemetery.
