Ursula Auer Binder

July 9, 1929 — June 5, 2019

Our mother, our Omi, and our friend, Ursula Auer Binder, departed this earthly life to return home to her Heavenly Father and her eternal family, at 89 years of age, on June 5, 2019 at 11:55 a.m. in Riverton, Utah. Ursula died 34 days short of her 90th Birthday.

Ursula leaves behind a son, Martin G.W. Binder (Hilaria Yolanda López) and a Daughter, Ursula K. Gardner (Albert Lee Gardner), 6 grandchildren: Kelly Binder, Gabriela Binder, Gabriel López, Karin E. Brock Henderson, Walter W.G. Brock and Michael D. Brock, as well as 14 greatgrandchildren: Hans Binder, Ian Binder, Samuel López, River Henderson, Silver Henderson, Summer Henderson, Tanzi Henderson, Ridge Henderson, Scarlett Brock, Zetta Brock, Patton Brock, Violette Brock, Barrett Brock and Rhett Brock.  

Ursula exemplified the pure love of Christ, living a selfless life filled with much faith, service and love, relying on and trusting her Heavenly Father and her beloved Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ.

To the many doctors and health care professionals that have taken such good care of Ursula, to everyone at Beehive Homes in West Jordan and at Rocky Mountain Care and Hospice in Riverton, as well as other care facilities and professionals, to our dear Bishop Volker Hagen and his wife Gisa, to Ursula’s faithful home-teacher/ministering couple Siegfried and Eva Klunker, to all the members of the German speaking ward in the Salt Lake Central Stake, to Bishop Angel Rodolfo Pinto and family, to Patriarch Anselmo Rafael Brito and family, to our dear friend Charles Dahlquist III, to the Brock family, to Ileen Springer and Family, to Luana Thorup and Family, to the Gardner Family, and to Ursula’s many dear friends and family members in the U.S.A. Venezuela, Germany, Romania, and other parts of the world, we express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude for your kindness, love, friendship and service.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at the German Speaking Ward, 768 East 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah where a viewing will be held from 12-12:45 p.m. prior to funeral services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.

 

Our Omi will be greatly missed, until we meet again.

Omi, wir haben dich lieb.  Bis aufs Wiedersehen.
