Our Gathering Hall

We are so pleased to announce our new event and memorial center, The Gathering Hall! We are located just north of McDougal Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Our beautifully open and inviting space has been created with family gathering in mind. We offer several options for hosting your next family event. Whether it is a memorial service, a luncheon following a memorial service, or an “open mic” gathering, we have the peaceful comforting space for you to come, to be with family, to visit, to renew acquaintances, to make new friends… simply just to be together.

Our Gathering Hall is not limited to events surrounding a funeral or memorial service. With a space so welcoming to families, we also invite large family dinner parties, wedding breakfasts and receptions, holiday celebrations, birthday parties, even bridal and baby showers!

Our Hall can seat up to ninety people comfortably, at round banquet tables. Buffet tables are also available for your use. We seat up to 140 guests at a memorial service, with chairs in rows. We offer several catering options for you to choose from. You are welcome to provide your own food. Our kitchen has two refrigerators, two stoves, one microwave, with serving dishes and utensils available for use. We also offer glassware as well as ceramic plates for a more formal meal. A small rental fee applies for their use.

There are two large screen televisions, two wireless microphones, a podium with a microphone, and options to play music with our sound system.
